Octopus Energy’s generation arm has made its latest leap into the French renewable energy market by acquiring agrivoltaics developer OX2 France from OX2 AB.

Octopus Energy’s generation arm, in partnership with Skyborn Renewables, has been selected by the French government to enter the country’s next offshore wind tender.

The SIAAP (Interdepartmental Union for the Sanitation of the Paris Agglomeration) and Veolia inaugurated the largest French unit for production of biomethane from wastewater treatment. 

European developer and operator of wind and solar farms has announced the signing of five long-term electricity supply contracts between its national company VSB France and Carrefour.
